The Boy in the Dress

By David Williams

Dennis, who had recently lost his mother, realized that he liked fashion. At the encouragement of his friend Lisa, he wore a dress and became Denise, a brand new person in the neighborhood.

This book is about a mischievous young boy who decided to dress up as a girl to confuse everyone, at the same time do some mischief that he normally would not be able to get away with. He managed to tease a boy, mock his teacher, and other stunts that the usual Dennis would not be able to pull off. Only when people found out who he was that he started to be responsible for his actions again. At least at the end, he managed to find out that he wasn’t the only one that likes dresses.
